Soccer Player Aaron Ramsey Boosts Bounty for Lost Pet in Mexico to $20,000
Welsh soccer player Ramsey has increased the bounty for details about the vanished dog named Halo to $$20k.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who now represents the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, mentioned that the beagle was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.
Halo, who disappeared on 9 October, was wearing a tracking device, and Ramsey posted a map pinpoint of where she was last seen.
"Any sort of updates regarding our Halo please get in touch with us. Significant incentive for finding her. We are all wishing she is unharmed and will return to our side shortly," Ramsey posted on Instagram.
Initial Bounty and Heartfelt Appeals
The footballer first revealed that Halo had disappeared two weeks ago and has since posted multiple images of the beloved canine on Instagram.
A $$10k reward was originally provided, but with no news on Halo's location after a week, the player and his loved ones increased the sum.
"We just want our pet back," he said in a further plea on social media after the 10-year-old pet went missing.
The most recent image upload is a black and white photo of Halo napping, its head lying in the crook of the athlete's arm, with the message: "How I wish to embrace you once more Halo."
Household's Worries and Background
The footballer has additionally shared a note from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media saying they have some "important queries" surrounding the event and fear the household "may never receive answers".
"To this day we have not located our dog. It is unlikely we ever will," his wife's update read.
The Wales captain signed with Mexico's premier club Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and had his inaugural match in the Mexican league in August.
The Caerphilly-born footballer is the pioneering well-known British athlete to play in the Mexican league.
